Elevate Your Modeling Career:
Resilience, Confidence, longevity

Working as a model is A LOT different than you thought it would be.

Most people think you are living the dream but sometimes it feels a lot more like a nightmare. You are physically and mentally exhausted from trying to live up to everyone’s expectations.

You thought you were hiding how much things are bothering you, but your agent has been asking weird questions and it’s making you nervous. How can they expect you to just put on a smile and act like everything is fine? Don’t they realize the level of harassment and the ridiculous amount of sexual advances you put up with on a daily basis?

Not to mention the fact that you are literally treated like a product and often have to wait months to get paid. You just wish people understood how hard it is to be “perfect” all the time and not let the rejection and criticism get to you.

You are tired of being treated like a product

Your boundaries are always being pushed, and the pressure is really getting to you. Sometimes you let things go too far but you always find ways to justify it and not bother telling anyone.

It’s too embarrassing and you were warned that it comes with the territory. You get that you are basically just a clothes hanger and a prop to everybody but no one should be treated that way!

You just want to enjoy your work and be successful

You feel so much pressure to make this work and to not be a huge disappointment to your family and friends, and more importantly, to yourself. Quite frankly, you don’t have a backup plan, and you are freaked out at the thought of doing anything else.

This job is so far from normal, but it’s the only job you want. You get sad when you remember what it was like to have fun on set or creating content and how you used to be excited about the work.

You would love to get that feeling back, but that was before you understood how the industry really works and you don’t even know where to begin.

Hello I’m Holly Marie (she/her)

I help models who are feeling anxious, stuck, and rejected, build true confidence and long lasting careers.  I understand what it’s like to live with the constant scrutiny and pressure to perform in a fast-paced, unpredictable, and sometimes harmful environment.

I started modeling in NYC at age 15 and although it was super exciting, I was not prepared for what really goes on inside the fashion, entertainment, and advertising industries and what type of impact it would have on my mental health. I was exposed to a lot of shady things that a teenager should not have had to deal with, and as a result, I developed depression, anxiety, and a distorted body image.

Years later when my children wanted to start modeling in NYC, I thought that surely things had improved since I was younger. Unfortunately not a lot has changed and there is still a lot of the same issues I had faced, and not much mental health support.

I want you to benefit from the lessons I learned the hard way

When I took a psychology class in my 20’s, I finally started to realize why I had developed depression and anxiety and that I was not alone in the way I felt. I started talking to other models about mental health and realized that almost everyone had been through the same things as me.

That experience motivated me to pursue a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling to learn how to support and advocate for models in meaningful ways.

To be successful as a model, it is imperative to have the right tools and support. Because of my personal experience both as a model and as a parent of models, my clients find that I am able to provide them with a level of support and a feeling of being seen and understood that they have not found with other coaches.

Having the right tools makes all the difference

When we begin working together, I start by making sure you have the tools you need to manage the daily pressure and anxieties of working in a fast-paced environment where you always have to be “on” and look like you have your shit together.

Together we will create a personalized plan to help you build true confidence and take the right steps towards a long lasting career. We will use tools such as guided meditations, grounding exercises, tapping, Brainspotting and other proven ways to help you deal with the stress of rejection and pressure of being in front of a camera all the time.

If you are ready to feel more supported, stop agonizing about your future, get back to feeling like anything is possible, and enjoy your work again, please check out my About Page to learn more about how we would work together and schedule a 1:1 coaching session with me today!

Let’s Talk !

I know it can feel like a big step to schedule a 1:1 session with a coach, but I’ll make it as easy as possible. As a former model, I understand the challenges you face on a daily basis. It is my mission to help you avoid the same mistakes I made.
